Where is this event?

The Murrieta Rod Run is held in Historic Old Town Murrieta on Washington Street between Kalmia Street and Ivy Street.

What are the dates of this event and where do I enter?

Friday Cruise October 11th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Enter the event on Washington St. at either Kalmia or Ivy Street (All registered cars are free; Non-registered cars are $20).

Saturday Show & Shine October 12th, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Streets open at 6:00 AM and ALL cars MUST be parked no later than 8:30 AM when the street closes until the end of the show. Pre-registration Parking only. Enter Washington Street at Ivy Street only.

What year cars are allowed to enter?

1976 and Older Cars

When Premier Reserved Parking on Washington is sold out, where do I park?

Once Washington Street is sold out, parking is first come basis for the side streets and parking lots. If your group would like to park together, they should all come in together as there are no reserving or saving spaces, except for the assigned spaces on Washington Street.

When do I have to have my pre-registered car parked and displayed?

All cars MUST be parked Saturday morning by 8:30 AM with your Window Card displayed by 8:45 AM or the car will not be judged. Cars without their hood up and Window Card displayed in the front window by this time will NOT be judged.

How do I get my car judged?

To have your car judged, your hood must be up and you must display the provided Window Card in your front window by 8:45 AM . Window Cards will be handed out at registration.

Who Judges the vehicles at the Show?

Individuals with a background in judging car shows from seven area Car Clubs comprise the Murrieta Rod Run’s Judging Panel.

What do I get at Registration?

At registration, each pre-registered car owner will receive:

  • One of the best goody bags ever! (First come, first serve)
  • Window Card for judging.
  • Coupon for free 2024 official Murrieta Rod Run T-Shirt (T-Shirts picked up Friday or Saturday at the official Rod Run T-shirt booth at Murrieta Rod Run)
  • Event directory and map of Washington Street Murrieta Rod Run Venue
  • Opportunity to purchase Raffle tickets and official 2023 Murrieta Rod Run Posters

I’m a Vendor where do I go?

Check-in and enter on Juniper Street and Washington Friday, October 11th, 2024  between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All vendors must be set up by 3:00 PM on Friday. 

Where does the money from this event go?

100% of the proceeds go to the Oak Grove Center, a nonprofit organization providing Residential Care, Education and Treatment for at-risk and special needs youth. All checks and cash are handled by Oak Grove Center.
